Week 43

So this week the thing I am most proud of is getting a photo each day!

On Wednesday I had 2 surgeries and after getting out of hospital have spent the rest of the week recovering and pretty much bed/couch ridden so photo's haven't been the easiest to get.

I did discover however that there is a bird who has built a nest in our roof next to our lounge so I managed to get some photo's of her as she popped back in to feed her babies from the couch and get well flowers from Molly (in next weeks post) provided some good fodder for photo's.

I am hoping as I become more mobile to get back in to photo's although it is still a month before I am able to lift my camera bag so will need to pick my lenses wisely each day!

Week 42

A lot of fishing wire and black and white this week as I tried to get a photo for the Canon photo competition this week!  I have entered a photo now (not on here yet) after tossing up between that one and the one on the 13th - hoping I made the right decision!

 

Still loving my macro lens and it is making me look at things in a different way.

Week 41

I seem to be having an unofficial theme of black and white this week as I try and get my head around black and white photo's for the Canon photo competition.  I have also finally got a new version of Photoshop (I was on version 2 - it is now up to version 11 - safe to say things have changed a wee bit).  So once I get my head around how that works I may start trying out a few things with that...  At the moment though - just opening it is challenging enough!

Week 40

Week 40 - only 12 more weeks till the end of the year!!  It's gone so fast and I can't wait to see it all put together at the end of the year - like some of the others doing this challenge with me I think I am going to put it all together in a book..

No work this week with School Holidays and a trip to Rotorua with the family meant that I had lots of chances to get photo's (click here for some more pictures from Rotorua).
